DANDYLOGIA — ELEGANCE & AVANT-GARDE

Santelli Holding / Edizioni Clandestine — 400 pages

An editorial and visual research project investigating the evolution of masculine aesthetics from the late eighteenth century to contemporary gender-fluid fashion culture.

Conceived as a hybrid between essay, visual archive, and cultural anthology, DANDYLOGIA traces the genealogy of the dandy through fashion history, literature, celebrity culture, and avant-garde design practices.

The second part of the volume focuses on the transformation of menswear from the mid-1990s onward, analyzing the work of pioneering designers including Helmut Lang, Ennio Capasa, Carol Christian Poell, Raf Simons, and Hedi Slimane, whose vision redefined masculinity through minimalism, fragility, and identity deconstruction.

The publication includes over 120 fashion silhouettes and references spanning from Beau Brummell to Karl Lagerfeld and contemporary performers such as Achille Lauro, Måneskin, and Jared Leto.
